Molti fedeli, tradizionalmente e lodevolmente legati alla devozione dei primi venerdì del mese, in onore del Sacro Cuore di Gesù, avvertono oggi la mancanza del Sacramento della confessione e della Comunione.
I recenti decreti della presidenza del consiglio dei ministri, come è noto, impongono dei giusti limiti per combattere la diffusione dell’epidemia e, di fatto, impediscono anche la possibilità di accostarsi agevolmente ai sacramenti del perdono e dell’Eucaristia.
La segreteria generale della CEI afferma che, in questi casi, “se non sussistono le condizioni per poter amministrare il sacramento, supplet Ecclesia” (supplisce la chiesa, attingendo alla misericordia di Dio)…
Questo vuol dire che in tempo di emergenza, non potendo accostarsi al sacramento della confessione, per ricevere il perdono di Dio, è sufficiente “desiderare” il sacramento, promettendosi di riceverlo appena possibile. Naturalmente è necessario mettersi con umiltà e sincerità davanti a Dio, chiedendogli perdono e promettendo di non ripetere gli stessi errori.
Lo ricorda Papa Francesco nell’omelia del 20 marzo a Santa Marta. A chi vuole “fare la pace con il Signore”, e si domanda “come posso fare se non trovo sacerdoti?”, il papa risponde: “Tu fai quello che dice il Catechismo”. E continua: “se tu non trovi un sacerdote per confessarti, parla con Dio, è tuo Padre, e digli la verità: Signore ho combinato questo, questo, questo … Scusami, e chiedigli perdono con tutto il cuore, con l’Atto di dolore e promettigli: Dopo mi confesserò, ma perdonami adesso. E subito tornerai alla grazia di Dio”.
Anche per il sacramento dell’Eucaristia, seguendo la Santa Messa attraverso i media, se non è possibile ricevere Gesù realmente, è possibile farlo spiritualmente, al momento della Comunione.
Le stesse raccomandazioni, naturalmente, valgono per tutti quelli che nel periodo pasquale avrebbero voluto accostarsi alla confessione e alla Comunione e non possono.
Dio, che guarda nei nostri cuori, conosce e apprezza i nostri desideri e ci giustifica, se ci sforziamo di convertire i nostri cuori e ci impegniamo a vivere con serietà i suoi insegnamenti.
